Good morning. Here’s what you need to know.
- After the massive sell-off in the U.S. yesterday, Asian markets were down in overnight trading with the Hang Seng plummeting 5.25% and the Nikkei down 2.91%. Europe is mixed and U.S. futures point to a positive open.
- International trade data for September and initial jobless claims will be released at 8:30 AM ET. Expectations are for a trade deficit for $46.3 billion and for a rise in initial jobless claims to 400K. Follow the release at Money Game >
- Import and export prices for October will be released at 8:30 AM ET and U.S. treasury budget for October will be released at 2 PM ET. Consensus is for a 0.2% month-over-month drop in import prices and a treasury budget deficit of $111 billion. Follow the release at Money Game >
